What is Battle Circuit?

This class offers a powerful circuit training outdoor training experience. The session is typically delivered in a static location, with a wide range of exercises and mix of kit and equipment.

Don’t be fooled by the word static because you won’t be! The class takes place for 45 minutes, you’ll achieve a full body workout and feel pumped for the day.

The class is great if you want to work on full-body conditioning and build your all-round fitness. It offers variety from your regular bootcamp class whilst still ensuring that you will retain high intensity training and power. It is also an opportunity to really focus on form and control so we’d highly recommend adding Battle Circuits to your regular weekly routine.

Benefits of Circuit Training.

Due to the nature of this type of training, moderate to high intensity activity is performed for an allocated duration. This approach can provide benefits such as:

 

Stronger you.

Not only will your health and fitness be improved, but by testing and understanding how hard you can push yourself in a circuit class, you become more resilient to every-day challenges too. 

High calorie burn

You’ll feel the metabolic burn as you switch between bodyweight exercises, lifting equipment and cardio with short rests in between. You can easily smash between 400-600 calories in a Battle Circuit.

 

Build muscle tone

You’ll hit pretty much every muscle group in a circuit training workout. Each session will be planned so that each station hits different body parts, this making you feel stronger all over.

Always varied.

You can expect to use the following types of equipment in our circuit training classes: Kettlebells, Resistance bands, Slam balls, Logs, Tyres, Battle ropes, Dumbbells and barbells.
