Weight loss exercise for beginners

You will find our Bootcamp classes a great source of exercise for beginners. Also, you may be feeling nervous or anxious about the exercise class.

But, you will receive such a positive welcome from our fitness community, this will quickly disappear. 

What To Expect

Before your exercise for beginners session

You will need to wear trainers and suitable fitness clothing. For example, you can wear leggings or shorts and a t-shirt. You will want to wear a hat, gloves and a warmer top during the winter months. However, once you get started you’ll warm up quickly.

You should aim to arrive 15 minutes before the class starts at the first session. You’ll be greeted by one of our friendly instructors who will explain how our exercise for beginners class works. In additions, you will also have the opportunity to discuss your fitness history with your instructor, so they can tailor the class to your needs.

You don’t need to bring anything with you for the session. Your valuables will be securely stored on the instructors’ backpack during the session. On top of that, your instructor will provide water during the class.

What to expect during the exercise for beginners classes

You’ll be introduced to our friendly members at the start of the class who have all been in the same position when they did their first class.

Moving on, you will start with a progressive 10-minute warm-up. This will prepare you both physically and mentally for the session ahead. In addition, you will break down barriers with the other members and this will settle you in for the class.

Following the warm-up, you’ll start the main session where you’ll participate in a variety of exercise for beginners activities. You’ll experience a mix of bodyweight exercises, equipment based circuit training and team challenges.

Finally, you will get at least one water break during the session from your instructor. We provide more water breaks in hotter conditions.

After your session

Once you complete your main session, you’ll end with a thorough cool-down. Primarily, you’ll gradually lower your heart rate and stretch the major muscles groups.

After the class, your instructor will be keen to find out how you found the class. Furthermore, you can find out more about what membership options are available to you after your trial sessions.

As a result, you’ll leave the session feeling motivated and in a positive mindset, ready for your next session.

Suitable exercise for beginners

First of all, you’ll be given demonstrations and explanations of each exercise. In addition, if you struggle with any movement, or have an injury, you’ll be offered a regression on each exercise. Alternatively, if you want to push yourself harder, your instructor can offer progressions of each exercise to increase the intensity.

Most noteworthy, there’s no strict format for the classes. Even more, you’re instructor plans each session from scratch and no two classes are ever the same.
